Adam's Adventure Camp in Colorado
Adam’s Adventure Camp is a 5-night sleep-away camp experience (Sunday through Friday) at the YMCA of the Rockies’ Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, Colorado. Campers with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities enjoy activities that expand their horizons and develop the courage to try new things. This co-ed camp welcomes participants ages 9 and older with no upper age limit. Here’s some of the activities we offer:

Camp Jump Start Autism Adventure
Living Well Village
Camp Jump Start® Autism Adventure is a summer day camp designed for children ages 4-11 with an Autism diagnosis and their legal guardians. providing a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families in the community. Meet other families who share similar experiences, engage in fun activities within a safe and supportive environment, and build a network of support and understanding. Our beautiful campground known as the Living Well Village just south of St. Louis and only 5 miles from highways 141 and 21 (Tesson Ferry Road). Camp cost is donation-based: Families pay what they can, so no family is deterred by cost.

Traditional Youth and Teen Overnight Camp
Camp Ondessonk provides youth ages 10-16 the opportunity to experience firsthand the beauty of God’s creation. Located in the Shawnee National Forest of Southern Illinois, Ondessonk’s summer camp programs include traditional camp, mini-camp, adventure camp, and equestrian camp. All of Camp’s programs focus on providing a fun and enriching experience for participants by encouraging them to participate in a wide variety of new and exciting activities.

Family Support and Recreation
HARBOR Unlimited is a nonprofit organization that works closely with families who have a disabled person in their lives. We work with all age groups and encourage full families to participate in our events, education, camps, and other meet-ups. Our FREE monthly events are designed to be low stress, relaxing environments where families can meet other families and engage in activities and have included adapted snow and water skiing, scavenger hunts, arts & crafts, games, and more. In the summer, we hold a weeklong overnight family retreat at a local camp provider in the area.

OIPE Succeed Enrichment Camp at UMSL
Office of Inclusive Postsecondary Education (OIPE)
The Office of Inclusive Postsecondary Education (OIPE) believes that higher education should be accessible to all who choose it as a pathway towards thriving independence and competitive employment. Our education program includes:
- Succeed – non-degree seekers with intellectual disability who will be working towards an UMSL Chancellor’s Certificate upon completion of two years in the program
- Plus – graduates of the Succeed Program or students from other inclusive postsecondary programs
- Link (Degree or Certificate) – undergraduates with intellectual and developmental disabilities who may benefit from OIPE student support while pursing an UMSL degree or certificate
- Bridge: one year preparatory program to equip students with college-ready capabilities for a smoother transition from high school to higher education.
The SUCCEED Summer Enrichment Camp provides students ages 17 and older the SUCCEED college experience. Students choose to commute daily or stay overnight in a residence hall, utilize a meal plan on campus, take various academic workshops, complete vocational training, and engage in recreational and traditional camp activities on campus. Enrichment camp is offered once in June and once in July each summer.

Spark/AMT Dance Therapy & Movement
a program of DK Dance Productions
Spark / AMT is a dance therapy program based on the principles of Autism Movement Therapy for children who struggle with motor coordination, social, speech, and behavioral skills. It consists of warm up, short routines, movement, and games with therapeutic benefits. In addition to the program instructor, the class is staffed with volunteers to assist hands-on to enhance learning and a positive experience in the program.
