Do you know an individual, an agency, or recreation provider that should be recognized for their outstanding contribution in the area of recreation? If so, here is your opportunity to honor them! And it’s easy! The Recreation Council, during our Annual Meeting and Recognition Ceremony, recognizes those who have provided outstanding work in the area of recreation/leisure for individuals with disabilities. If you are interested in recognizing an individual or agency please complete the nomination form found on our website and email it to the Recreation Council no later than February 28, 2026. Recreation Council’s Annual Meeting & Recognition Ceremony
“Magic in the Messiness – Dignity of Risk at Play”

Date: Thursday, March 19, 2026
Time: 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Location: The Lodge Des Peres, 1050 Des Peres Road, Des Peres, Missouri 63131

Speaker: Christopher Worth, BFA, MA, M.Ed.  Christopher is a researcher who works through a creative lens to help communities move toward full inclusion for people with disabilities. His areas of expertise are dignity of risk, self-determination, and how they work together.

Cost for the Luncheon $15/per person. Award winners receive a free ticket for themselves and a guest. Pay for lunch online HERE

Evening of Entertainment

The Recreation Council and Access for ALL is proud to host the 2026 Evening of Entertainment talent show of people with disabilities.

This Family-Friendly Event Highlights the Wonderful Talent of Individuals with disABILITIES. Join us for an evening of music, dancing, poetry reading, magic, comedy, and more. WE NEED PERFORMERS. If you have a talent you want to perform, complete our online Performer Application or contact Katie Banister by email at katie@access-4-all.com or by phone at 314-481-0633. Performance Applications are DUE by February 28, 2026.

“The Evening of Entertainment – A Competitive Spotlight on Abilities” Proceeds Benefit the scholarship program at the Recreation Council of Greater St. Louis.
