Adventure awaits on over 60 scenic acres in Dittmer, Missouri. Sunnyhill Adventures offers summer camps and year-round adventures for youth and adults of all abilities. The camp experience at Sunnyhill benefits those that attend long after they leave our wilderness retreat. Camp is a community where people can generate greater awareness, understanding and appreciation of themselves, through the activities offered and interaction with their peers.
Our recreational programs give a person the chance to explore nature with activities such as: float trips, the alpine tower, climbing and rappelling, swimming, boating, or riding the zip line. Sunnyhill On the Road Adventures is a program that gives adults, 18 years and older, the opportunity to take short road trips with the support of our Sunnyhill Adventure staff.
Some activities for each trip are planned in advance. Others are suggested by staff, but many are chosen by the group to allow them to personalize their adventure. In some instances not all activities listed for a destination will be utilized.
Through shared experience, these programs assist people with the formation of new friendships and the nurturing of established relationships. Whether a week or a weekend with Mother Nature – the memories will last a lifetime.

I Can Ride Bike Camp
Lydia Cox I Can Ride Bike Camp
The Lydia Faith Cox Family Foundation values people by recognizing individual uniqueness and celebrating diversity. We focus on abilities rather than disabilities, as we work for the highest level of success for each camp participant. There are many factors that contribute to success: attendance, numbers served, percentage of children who can ride a 2 -wheel bike independently at the conclusion of camp and parent/guardian program feedback. On average, 80% of our camp participants can ride a typical two-wheel bike independently by the end of our 5-day program.

St. Louis City Library
St. Louis City Library Sensory Story Times
Select St. Louis Public Library locations offer Sensory Storytimes. Designed for children ages 3-9, Sensory Storytimes are more interactive and provide built-in time for sensory play. Literacy-rich environments are essential to the development of all modes of language for children and public libraries help caregivers provide this exposure to all children from a young age. Sensory Storytimes include freedom of movement with more visual aids, action and sensory experiences.
